High-End Home in Section K

Villa Mirador opens almost entirely to the treetops, its living spaces wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass that slides away onto a covered terrace beneath a warm teak-plank ceiling and slender black steel columns. A turquoise lap pool runs the length of the deck, edged by a cable railing that lets the surrounding jungle canopy read as the fourth wall. Inside, pale large-format floors and bright white walls set off teak cabinetry, woven leather seating, and a live-edge dining table, while rattan pendants and recessed cove lighting keep the mood soft and unhurried. The effect is a calm, contemporary perch that lives as much outdoors as in.

José Pablo Ortiz led the management of every phase — Design Management, Building Permit Management, Pre-Construction Management, and Construction Management & Project Closeout — during his years at PrendasLoria.
