Flora Apartments is a compact, warmly clad retreat, its wood-sided volumes and dark trim tucked into a screen of trees. A trim rectangular pool takes a fall of water from a board-formed concrete wall, edged by a teak deck and easy rattan seating in dappled light. The interiors stay bright and unfussy, with sky-blue accent walls, white beds, floating wood shelves and compact kitchens set around waterfall-edge stone islands and woven pendant lamps. It carries the relaxed sun-and-salt ease of a surf-town base, comfortable and close to the greenery.
