Casas Cielo y Mar are a pair of mirrored bungalows, Casa Cielo and Casa Mar, facing each other across a shared blue-tiled pool. Low roofs lined in warm wood and trimmed in turquoise shelter covered patios of stacked stone, each opening through glass sliders to a compact kitchen and living room. Between them, potted bird-of-paradise and a garden of palms, croton, and heliconia frame the water, while teak loungers with bright cushions catch the sun. The feeling is easy and open-air, two small homes sharing one green courtyard.
