Casa Nosara is a two-level contemporary home of approximately 362 m2 on an 810 m2 lot in Nosara, Guanacaste, delivered by José Pablo Ortiz (PrendasLoria) with José Pablo Ortiz as project manager. Organized over two levels, it places the primary and secondary bedrooms, living-dining, kitchen, terrace, garage and pool on the ground floor with a common area and balcony above, and employs passive-design strategies for interior comfort. The warm, earth-toned architecture uses masonry and concrete with a metal-beam mezzanine and metal roof, teak ceilings, travertine and porcelain floors, stainless-steel railings and a pebblecrete pool. Structural engineering was by Ing. Ademar Barrantes Valverde and electromechanical design by Ing. Federico Pena Ramirez (GO Ingenieria), with construction by AC Builders.
José Pablo Ortiz led the management of every phase — Design Management, Building Permit Management, Pre-Construction Management, and Construction Management & Project Closeout — during his years at PrendasLoria.
