Casa Koala is defined by a bold, upswept roofline, its warm timber soffit and horizontal wood-slat screens floating above white volumes and black steel framing. Sliding glass walls open the main level to a covered terrace with an outdoor grill and a hanging rattan chair, while a board-formed concrete wall sends a thin ribbon of water into the pool below. The kitchen carries the same easy palette, with teak cabinetry, polished concrete floors, a teal-tiled backsplash, and oversized woven pendants. Framed by red ti plants, palms, and a frangipani tree, the home feels relaxed, family-scaled, and rooted in its garden.
