Casa Dulce opens around a double-height great room where a warm teak-planked ceiling meets white walls and a floating staircase of wood treads on blackened steel. Stone masonry, black-framed glazing and a live-edge kitchen island ground the space, while clerestory windows draw light deep into the interior. Outside, a covered terrace under a slatted timber pergola runs alongside a slim pool edged in river stone, its loungers set against a screen of dry-forest trees. The mood is bright, vertical and open, with rooms that read as much garden as house.
