Casa Playa Pelada is a two-level contemporary tropical home near Playa Pelada in Nosara, Guanacaste, comprising roughly 252 m² of interior and exterior living space. The design opens generously to its forested hillside setting: white textured-stucco volumes and warm wood-slat accents frame black-framed floor-to-ceiling glazing, low-slope roofs with deep overhangs, a pool with sun deck, layered terraces, and an interior garden that draws the surrounding greenery indoors. As project manager for PrendasLoria,
José Pablo Ortiz led the management of every phase — Design Management, Building Permit Management, and Pre-Construction Management — during his years at PrendasLoria.

Design, engineering and construction were carried out by the project's architects, engineers and an independent general contractor. The role above is project management across the full lifecycle.
