Casa Cascada is a substantial multi-level high-end residence of roughly 661 m2 (7,117 ft2) near Playa Pelada in the Nosara area of Guanacaste, organized over four levels (ground floor through fourth) with a pool, a top-level barbecue terrace, and beach-oriented amenities. Its architecture is a warm, organic-modern tropical expression: curved wood-clad soffits, cream fieldstone and travertine, brass fixtures, and expansive glass walls that dissolve the boundary between the interiors and a sunken fire-pit lounge, pool, and tropical gardens. José Pablo Ortiz (operating as PrendasLoria) served as project manager across the lifecycle, producing the conceptual and schematic design with extensive 3D visualization, the complete architectural and engineering construction drawings, municipal permitting, and a formal bidding and contractor-selection process, and carrying the work into construction administration with change-order management and site supervision. Architecture and engineering were delivered in-house.
José Pablo Ortiz led the management of every phase — Design Management, Building Permit Management, and Pre-Construction Management — during his years at PrendasLoria.

Design, engineering and construction were carried out by the project's architects, engineers and an independent general contractor. The role above is project management across the full lifecycle.
Casa Cascada was a PrendasLoria project, managed by José Pablo Ortiz across its full lifecycle during his years there. He now brings that experience to Papagayo Design Center, where he is a partner.
